Alright, I have a 20 gallon tank. I just started the Nitrogen cycle like last week and Im still waiting for it to be over with already. Haha. Anyways, so far I have two cherry albino barbs, two rosy barbs, and two white clouds. I want to add one male betta, some Glofish, some Glassfish, and some Glass Catfish. I know all of these would probably overcrowd all of them, but I'm not really planning on getting all of them. I was just wondering if they would all live together in a community tank without any fighting or fin nipping. (The pet store people say that fin nipping is normal most of the time, so how about no like fin eating or fin destroyers! Hows that?)

I've got pics of the ones I want just in case I'm using different names then what you probably know of.

Thanks for ANY help at all!!

You already have nothing but schooling fish. You should be focusing on getting 3-4 more of each of those, first. After that, your tank will be pretty much stocked. You could maybe have some Corydoras catfish, or something similar.

glass catfish are rather sensitive and do better in larger more established tanks

the fish you currently have are schoolers and need more member of the same species... i'd focus on them before getting new fish

the barbs and glofish would likely nip the betta

Theoretically, sure. even if, some lady bettas could be fairly aggressive, so which you should be arranged to do away with them in the event that they start harassing the guppies. The long, flowing tails on the guppies will make it greater probably that the female bettas will harass them than, say, a tetra with a quick tail. keeping a minimum of four of 5 lady bettas in the comparable tank will decrease the possibility of aggression. they might combat among themselves for each week or so till their hierarchy is regular, yet after that they should cool down. returned, be arranged to do away with any overly aggressive women.
