It depends on what sea slugs you want. I have never seen the blue dragon on any order list, and I have very extensive invertebrate lists, and a quick online search showed no retailers there either. You can ask your local fish stores, but it is unlikely you will find one. Many sea slugs are impossible to feed in captivity anyway, some we have no idea what they even eat!

If you want a sea slug tank, get algae eating sea slugs or get ones that you know what they specifically eat and where you can provide that food. Some eat only blue sponge for example. If you can keep a healthy enough colony of blue sponge then they are feasible to keep. Some only eat flatworms. If you can keep a large colony of flatworms going, it too can be feasibly.

Algae is obviously the easiest food to provide. So start with sea hares, lettuce nudibranchs, Chamberlain Nudibranch (really pretty nudibranch), etc.

This place has some nice nudibranchs and information on different species that are more commonly available.

On sea hares and any nudibranch, take care on your power head and filter intakes as they can easily get caught, and in the case of the sea hare, some can ink or release toxins under stress (nothing more stressful than being torn apart by a pump). Sponge pre-filters on all intakes is recommended.

You will need lots of live rock to provide foraging grounds and natural habitats.

So the main thing is research, research, research. Know what the nudibranch is, what flows it wants, what temps it needs, and what it eats, and make sure you can provide those basics.

You can keep sea slugs and sea hares as pets. there are over 3000 species referred to as sea slugs. A majority of them are Nudibranchs with naked lungs. They are very common in tidal pools in California. These are very difficult to keep and eat anemones, soft corals, sponges and hydroids and other invertebrates that are very difficult to keep and expensive. Anapodactylus, the sea spider is a major predator on sea hares, which taste bad because they absorb toxins from their food. The Blue Dragon is a Nudibranch that must live part of its life in close association with Physalia jellyfish, that's why you aren't seeing many..They will not live in an aquarium, except those run by Unioversity marine Laboratories who have access to the strange things they eat. If you started an invertebrate tank, they would eat a lot of your simpler invertebrates . The 8 species of Sea Hares, on the other hand, don't have the showy colors but do well in aquariums where great attention is paid to the salinity and being positive that no copper is in their water. If they appear to go missing, they have usually burrowed under the sand. They eat seaweed in the wild, and there are posts of them eating seaweed in captivity, but you can feed them various types of lettuce. They need a 20 gallon tank at least.

NOT!

Are you dumb?

They can climb with there slimyness!

You have to get a waterbottle, with holes on top of the cap so it can breathe.

Put PLANTS , FRUITS , VEGGIES , FLOWERS , AND WATER TO DRINK.

Plus, spray it 3 times a day in a spray bottle:-")

hope this helped,
