Upgrading would be a good idea. Jamie is correct. "that tank is too small for either of your fish." Shoaling fish like Oto's or cory catfish need 20 gallons minimum. For a group of 5-7. Betta fish are capable of living in a 5 gallon with a few shrimp or snails.

First of all, that tank is too small for either of your fish, and you have them both in the wrong groups. You'd need a fifteen gallon tank with sand substrate for them, and the otos need groups of at least two, preferably three, the cories HAVE to be in groups of five, but prefer larger shoals. They'll be stressed out, depressed, feel insecure and risk hurting themselves without proper groups, and a five gallon cannot support them, period.

If you want them with fish, a bigger tank is better, twenty+ gallons, and all fish that are not picky or highly aggressive can go with them. There are a few exceptions like bettas, but they're 50/50, you want peaceful community fish with them.

Neon Tetra

Silver Dollar

these two fish would be perfect with your cory catfish!

they are very social and get along great!

these two fish are beautiful and their scales reflect alot of light at certain angles thus lighting up the fish tank.

Neon Tetra seem to be Luminous in nature but it's not the case
