Looking for info on the mating rituals of angel fish?

We have a male and female angel fish, the male would roll an his side and swim around the tank for minutes at a time and then right himselfand swim around, he did this for two days. Now the female is doing the same thing, we are assuming this is a ritual of some kind,but what. Does anyone know just what the mating rituals are?

The mating rituals are extremely strange.

First the male invites the female of to dinner and a movie, they head out to a mid scale restauranthave dinner (alcohol optional), next is a movie of the females choosing, afterward they head back to the males home where he convinces the female it is in her best intrest to mate with him, they mate.



In the morning the male promises to call the female later, he never does.

It's possible that this is a mating act. How do you know that you have a pair?



Angels are notoriously hard to sex and often people who think they have a pair do not.
