She looks like she still has a ways to go. Maybe 1-2 weeks. You can keep her in the main tank or put her in a breeder tank that floats in the main tank. If you leave her in the tank, it will be survival of the fittest, a lot will die but she won't be as stressed and will have a better chance at having all of the fry. If you put her in a breeder tank, she will most likely get stressed and abort the fry. I would just leave her in the main tank because you will end up with a lot surviving and they will grow up to breed and soon you will have 100+ guppies, trust me.

Signs that she is about to drop:

~Staying by the heater

~Backing herself up in a corner

~Putting her head down and bottom up

~Spitting out her food

~Her back end by the gravid spot will look squared off

Make sure the fry get food 3-5 times a day and they need a lot of hiding spaces.

you place a woman and male guppy in the comparable tank. on the backside ingredient of the female guppy a depressing spot varieties the place the little ones are forming. It took my guppies approximately 2 weeks tops to get pregnant. while they are pregnant it takes generally 20-30 days for them to furnish delivery. My guppy, upon giving delivery for the 1st time, yielded around twenty little fry. in case you get severely much less fry from the 1st being pregnant then probability is you acquire there after the parents ate maximum of them. as quickly as I bred guppies it have been given out of hand particularly immediately, as each and each offspring tries to reproduce back. I had births in my tank just about on a daily basis. you have a extensive tank, that's good. in case you want extra guppies to stay throughout the time of the 1st being pregnant, be sure to have a great variety of small factors in the tank for them to hide in. You tank is particularly great although, so this could be a good ingredient. good success. somewhat, to right this moment up answer your question: approximately 20-30 days, leaning in the direction of the later element of that. They technically could have from 2-60+ fry each and each being pregnant, yet I oftentimes have been given an primary of 20-30 fry each and each time. good success with breeding.

Yes, she is pregnant. She will have her babies once she all the sudden (as in like overnight) turns about 2x the size she is (her tummy that is). This is what she will look around; http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3588/3590703439_722827a7c8.jpg

She could be just a little bit smaller depending on how old she is. When she turns about that size, put her in either a separate tank, a breeder box, or a breeder net. But the risk of putting her in the box or net is that she could (this isn't that likely, as long as you wait till she really big) dissolve the babies in her tummy because of stress. If you don't do one of these, be sure you have lots of plants in your tank or meijers or pet stores have plants just for fry (the babies) to hide in, because the mom and the other fish will eat the fry. Good luck!

it looks like 1 is ready to pop from the looks of the pic but keep in mind you might have to be patient or try feeding live brine shrimp in a few days is a tip that has worked for me in the past i would bet it would give birth in less than a month at least the fattest 1
